Bishop Commissions Community Facility

The Bishop of Rochester, the Rt Revd Dr Michael Nazir-Ali, officially opened the improved facilities at St Paul with All Saints Church, Chatham during a service on Sunday 29 January 2006. The service was also an opportunity to welcome the new Community Project Manager, Linda Fiddyment and the Bishop prayed for Linda and the work of her team in the All Saints Community Project.

 

The new facilities include a purpose built room for the UK Online Centre, a kitchen, office space and a lobby area. The improvements are part of the on going work of the All Saints Community Project, which includes training adults with computers, an After Schools Club, rubbish clearance, alley gating. youth consultations and improvements to play facilities for young people.
