The All
Saints Community Project was set up 5 years ago to respond to some of the long-term
social issues that challenge many people’s lives living here in this part of
Chatham.
What
started out as a small local project financed by SRB (Round 5) and the
Rochester Diocese has quickly gained momentum and now we head up a partnership
of many statutory and voluntary agencies delivering high quality projects and
services in the local area.
In
the 2004 / 2005 financial year we were one of the few ‘grassroots’ community projects
in Medway to obtain Sustainable Community Funding from the Office of the Deputy
Prime Minister to deliver some significant projects covering a host of
different issues totalling £0.5 million pounds.

The All Saints Community
Project is our Churches response to some of the social issues we see around our
parish on a daily basis. The Single Regeneration
Budget and the Diocese of Rochester fund our parish worker and in partnership
with a number of statutory and voluntary organisations we form the All Saints
Neighbourhood Renewal Initiative.
